Hi, my name is Kelly Reynolds, owner of Birdland Boutique!
 

Creativity has always been part of who I am. As far back as I can remember, I was happiest with markers, paper, and a project to work on. Although my mom was a lifelong quilter and garment maker, I didn't discover my own passion for sewing until adulthood. Once I completed my very first project, a handmade bag on an inexpensive sewing machine, I was hooked.

What started as curiosity quickly grew into a true love for sewing and quilting. I immersed myself in classes and workshops, learning everything from quilting and bag making to embroidery and even sneaker making. Sewing became more than a hobby. It became my creative outlet, my therapy, and a source of joy that continues to inspire me every day.

In 2020, my mom and I purchased a BERNINA Q24 with QMatic, opening the door to the world of longarm quilting. Since then, I've had the privilege of becoming a Certified Instructor for Studio 180 Design and sharing my passion with fellow quilters at quilt shows and events.

I also serve as an educator for BERNINA Q Series machines for Hinkletown Sewing at The Old Country Store, where I love helping others learn new skills, gain confidence, and discover what is possible through sewing and quilting.

Through Birdland Boutique, my goal is simple: to inspire creativity, share knowledge, and help others experience the same joy that sewing and quilting have brought to my life. Whether you're just getting started or have been sewing for years, I believe there's always something new to learn, create, and share.

When I'm not in my sewing room, you'll usually find me relaxing by the pool during the summer, tackling home improvement projects with my husband, Aaron, or planning my next quilting adventure.
